What is Forgiveness?
Is it about forgiving some people from all their sins genuinely?
If not,then is it just your own cowardness to let someone hide themselves and be ready to make another mistake?
Does people really forgive you NOW and wait for your NEXT disaster?

My understanding of forgiveness from a Christian perspective is that forgiving someone releases you from bondage to anger and desire for revenge. When you forgive some you also release them from their deserved punishment – taking the hit yourself and setting them free. You may never “forget”, but whenever you remember the person or the event, you will not allow it to cripple your heart. I believe that only God (through Jesus Christ) can give us the ability to truly forgive someone who has deeply hurt us. That being said, in my own life, I have never been hurt so deeply such as being abused or raped by a parent or relative or ?? So I am so thankful for that. And with God’s help, my wife and I have been able to raise our 5 kids surrounded by love (and also numerous challenges!) Now they are all married and we have 4 grandchildren – which is pretty crazy. Anyhow – I don’t know why I’m writing this – I usually don’t do much commenting on blogs. Also thanks for following my photography blog!
